Ciancaglini signs with Imagine Music Publishing On February, 25th, 2008, David Angelo Ciancaglini signed a contract with Imagine Music Publishing of Medina, New York. Imagine is a young company that was founded by Ric Jones in 2002, Imagine Music Publishing offers university, school, community organizations, and individuals a personalized service dedicated to creating, developing and promoting music of the highest quality. Imagine Music offers not only quality original music for Band, Orchestra, Choir, Marching Band, Chamber Ensembles, and Soloists, but also offers commissioned works from experienced, award-winning composers, custom arrangements for all types of ensembles, quality educational and curricular materials, and marching band services of all types. David Angelo Ciancaglini met Mr. Jones at the 2007 conference of the International Double Reed Society, in Ithaca, New York. After some time, Mr. Jones asked Mr. Ciancaglini to look at "Cherry Blossom Overture," and "A Disturbing Notion," for consideration of publication. Coming this summer, "Cherry Blossom Overture" will become available to the world under the Imagine label. Mr. Ciancaglini can not begin to describe what it feels like to finally get published.

An Oratorio for Christ, set in the Catholic faith,
featuring our Virgin Mary - Yes, I have been working on this oratorio
since August 2006, this work has been difficult from the get go. 1
year and 7 months into this monster. It will be finished and it will be
good, God willing.
A piece for High School Jazz Ensemble / Stage Band - Still editing . .
A piece for Miss Amanda Loerch - This is one of my favorite projects
at the moment. Amanda Loerch is an Oboist & Bassoonist at George
Mason University in Fairfax, VA. Amanda and I are working
together to create a piece for the double reed doubler. The piece will
open on Oboe and finish on Bassoon, accompanied by Prepared
Piano. - Stalled
A new wind quintet piece - Thus far, all I have is a bunch of sketches.
Some more developed than others. At this moment I feel that this will
be a major piece of literature for the wind quintet. In size, I mean.
The Hydrant Hose March - The Hydrant Hose Company No. 1 is the
oldest of the volunteer fire companies of the Geneva Fire
Department, Geneva, New York. The Hydrants have been faithfully
serving the residents of the City of Geneva since 1880. I myself have
been a dedicated firefighter in the Hydrant Hose Company since
July, 2002. My goal is to capture the spirit of our past, present and
inspire our future.
